Reading for Pleasure

Reading for Pleasure is the best way to improve language. This is a collection of ideas for students, interaction with the books they read. Book reports should be interesting and fun, and with digital tools there are lots of new ways to interact with books your students have read or even as post-reading activities for literature.

"Book Tasting" Activity
Students sample three different books to decide if they’d like to read them and/or to expand their reading tastes
Book Bento
When your class has finished reading, students create a collaborative Book Bento, and present orally
Google Tour Builder for Any Subject
Don't just read literature with your students. Take them on a TOUR of it! Blogpost by Control Alt Achieve
Book Tasting
Help your students get excited about reading by turning a library visit into a culinary-like experience! Use Googleforms for digital feedback and easy accessiblilty in the future. Make a Linoit board of with notes for star ratings
